The usually demure 25-year-old star is said to have gone on a tequila-fuelled night out in Los Angeles on Tuesday, and in contrast to her sensible ways, ended up dancing on the tables.
An onlooker at Barney's Beanery, which has attracted the likes of Jim Morrison, Marilyn Monroe and Charlie Sheen, said she was blasting out Janice Joplin hits from the top of her voice.
'Barney's attracts a fairly lively clientele at the best of times. It has been going for nearly 90 years,' the eye witness told The Sun.
'Most of the famous LA boozers have been there at one point or another but they were put in the shade by Leona's behaviour. She was utterly steaming.'
'Leona was, 'Janis Joplin this, Janis Joplin that'.
'She was telling everyone how Janis was her inspiration and that she longed to be like her as a performer.
'She even gave a rendition of Piece Of My Heart at one point. It was pretty good, despite the state she was in.'
