Leona Lewis claims that she "loves a rave".
The singer is currently promoting her third album Glassheart and new single Trouble, which the star promises will show a different side to her. Leona revealed the music from her latest offering may shock fans, as it veers away from the romantic ballads she has previously released and hints at her wilder side.
"I love a rave," Leona revealed to British newspaper The Sun. "I was out last night at [exclusive London members club] Annabel's. I'm the first of my mates to hit the dancefloor and drag everyone else on. I'm always throwing shapes."
The 27-year-old winner of the X Factor UK explained more about the musical influences that can be heard on her latest album. She revealed how darker sounding beats factor heavily in her new material, which she feels is a true portrayal of what she is really like herself.
"I love a bit of dubstep, I love Skrillex. It's proper dirty dubstep. But I like everything from Justin Bieber to Radiohead. I'm all over the place," Leona laughed.
"It's very different. I think the darker, dubstep thing works with my voice and I wanted to go there."
