Leona Lewis "definitely" wants to adopt.
The 'Bleeding Love' singer says a trip to South Africa for charity campaign Sport Relief earlier this year has inspired her to give a disadvantaged child a home.
She said: "I definitely want to adopt. My mother was a social worker and my dad was a youth offender officer, so I know that there are a lot of kids out there that need help.
"When I was in Africa, I wanted to take home all the kids. They were so cute. All of them had been orphaned because of HIV and it was heart breaking.
"There are so many kids in the UK and abroad who need help it's difficult to know where to start."
The 23-year-old – who has been dating Lou Al-Chama since she was 17 – also told how she already lives the kind of wholesome lifestyle suitable for raising children.
She added: "I don't drink – it tastes like hairspray to me.
"I just dance, dance, dance. Everyone is always like, 'Don't you need a few drinks to dance?' But I go to clubs to have a good time and dance, not to sit there and pose.
"I'm not the sort of person to come stumbling out of nightclubs. My dad would go mad if I did that!"
