Rapper Lil Wayne has suffered a medical scare in Nebraska after suffering a seizure on a flight bound for California.
The pilot of the Lollipop star's private jet was forced to make an emergency landing, according to TMZ, shortly after take-off from Wisconsin on Monday afternoon (13Jun16).
Reports suggest Wayne blacked out as soon as the plane landed in Omaha, and paramedics dashed to the airfield.
Sources tell TMZ the rap star quickly regained consciousness and refused medical treatment.
It's not the first time something like this has happened - he suffered a pair of dramatic health scares in October, 2012, after experiencing seizure-like episodes on two flights, which were both grounded so he could be taken to hospital.
Wayne revealed he is taking pills to prevent a relapse - an admission he was forced to make after he became overheated during an interview in Louisiana.
He told MTV, "Please let them know that I have an air unit, but because of the sound, they don't want the air on, so it's super hot in here... I don't want y'all to think I'm on nothing, man. I'm on seizure medicine. That's all."
The Lollipop hitmaker's new health regimen also requires him to stay well hydrated. He adds, "They said I gotta drink four water bottles a day, that's what the doctors say."
He also suffered a near-fatal seizure in March, 2013, and was placed in a medically-induced coma in the intensive care unit at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
The health scare subsequently prompted Wayne, 31, to go public with his epilepsy diagnosis, revealing his seizures come with "no warning, no nothing," adding, "I don't feel sick."
He told MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway, "I go to sleep and wake up in the hospital. I don't feel anything. I just hope it stops happening."
