The first Limp Bizkit album in five years has been anointed 'Gold Cobra'.
Singer Fred Durst made the announcement via Twitter earlier today. Durst wrote, "The new Limp Bizkit album will be titled GOLD COBRA. Spread the werd. Bring it."
Rumours of the Limp Bizkit reunion first surfaced in mid-2008 and in February this year, Durst wrote in his Twitter account '1am pacific time – limpbizkit.com tonight'.
When you went to the site, you were greeted with the message; "We decided we were more disgusted and bored with the state of heavy popular music than we were with each other. Regardless of where our separate paths have taken us, we recognize there is a powerful and unique energy with this particular group of people we have not found anywhere else. This is why Limp Bizkit is back".
The band started recording the album on August 24 and downed tools on October 25.
'Gold Cobra' by Limp Bizkit will be released early next year.
