Limp Bizkit to start on new album

LIMP BIZKIT have announced that they will begin recording their new album within the next few weeks.

The recently-reunited band will be in the studio soon to start work on the follow-up to 2005's The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1).

They made the announcement just after they played at the weekend's Sonisphere festival at Knebworth.

Writing on his Twitter page, frontman Fred Durst said: "We're about to go into the studio in a couple of weeks and record our new album.

"We feel very confident about that."

Guitarist Wes Borland added: "[The songwriting process] takes all shapes and all forms. We've written songs during shows in the last tour. Sometimes it's spontaneous, sometimes it's like trying to take down a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

"It's like a pool of ideas. It's like a bunch of finished songs that everyone's done on their home studio setups. Most of the meat of the record will probably be written when we're in a room together."
