Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall found it thrilling to work with Macklemore producer Ryan Lewis.
The British pop band is in the midst of prepping their follow up to chart-topping album Get Weird.
The group, which is comprised of Jade, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Edwards, started working on the album as they criss-crossed the globe on their last tour, which was in support of their third effort.
And the Black Magic singer has now shared details of the band's creative process, revealing that she was thrilled when the opportunity came about for the group to work with Ryan Lewis, the creative force behind Grammy-award-winning artist Macklemore.
"We've been setting up writing camps with people we know, so even we if can't make it to a writing session the music is still sure to be relatable to us," Jade explained in an interview with MailOnline.
The 23-year-old also gushed about the band's sessions with the American record producer and DJ, telling the outlet: "That was incredible, as he hasn't really worked with any other artists but Macklemore."
Lewis won a Grammy in 2014 for Macklemore song Thrift Shop. The pair started working together after the multi-talented producer befriended the rapper on social media site Myspace. Working behind the scenes of the successful duo, Lewis recorded, engineered and mixed all of the duo's music, as well as directed the music videos for singles Same Love and Thrift Shop among others.
With work on the fourth album progressing at pace, Jade shares that the group have already picked out the first singles, which the girls all unanimously agreed upon.
"Yeah, I think we have (picked it)," she smiled. "It was weird as listening to the songs we have that is THE front-runner for a single, and it usually takes us ages to find as song for us to decide on, but this time we all said yes to it."
