London Grammar have spoken of their shock at the 'honour' of winning an Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically.
"I just feel really shakey and weird," said singer Hannah Reid.
Guitarist Dan Rothman added: "I just made complete fool of myself in front of Jimmy Page, which is the most embarrassing thing I've done today. I'm sure he's used to it - but what am I supposed to say? He's like, my fucking hero. It's ridiculous. Not just like 'hero' hero, but actual idol."
Speaking of the prestige that comes with winning an Ivor, Dan continued: "I don't really know what to expect from it to be honest with you, I think it's just amazing and tops off what's just been a really crazy year. Everything just seems to get more ridiculous as time goes on so I really am a bit speechless."
When asked how they were hoping to celebrate their win, Dot Major added: "We're going to Manchester tonight, so we'll have some celebrations on the train."
After receiving their award from Florence Welch, Hannah Reid used their acceptance speech to thank Disclosure for giving them their breakthrough moment in featuring on their collaborative track 'Help Me Lose My Mind'.
"This is a really, really special moment for us," she said. "Thank you to Disclosure. What they have done is really special for supporting young artists."
