Lostprophets have hinted that they could be playing this year's Reading and Leeds festival.
The band, who are set to release new album 'Weapons' on April 2, said their dream is to headline the event.
Discussing possible festival performances this summer, frontman Ian Watkins told Zane Lowe: "I'm still waiting to headline Reading. I've been waiting since 2001!"
Last year an exclusive source told Gigwise that Green Day, Foo Fighters and The Prodigy are set to headline this year's Reading and Leeds festival. .
The bands will headline the annual event, which takes place from August 24-26 in Reading and Leeds.
As previously reported on Gigwise Melvin Benn, managing director at organiser Festival Republic, revealed that he's already made some "very exciting" bookings for 2012.
Speaking about the festival to BBC Newsbeat, he said: I couldn't be happier overall with where we're going with all the festivals.
Pulp, The Strokes, My Chemical Romance and Muse headlined the dual festival, which took place from August 26-28.
