Like the name of his classic 70s live album, Lou Reed is planning on doing a show for 'Rock and Roll Animals'.
Reed and his wife Laurie Anderson will perform a free show for dogs at the Sydney Opera House in June.
The 20-minute performance titled 'Music For Dogs' was written by Anderson and features music performed with dog whistles that can only be heard by dogs.
The show is expected to be a howling success for the animals but their owners will only hear the surrounding sounds of Ferries cruising across Sydney Harbour.
Reed and Anderson's dog show is on June 5 at the Northern Broadwalk of the Opera House.
They will also be holding free tai chi classes on the forecourt of the Sydney Opera House conducted by Lou's personal trainer Master Ren Guang-Yi at 11am on June 4 and 6, at 7am on June and at 9am on June 9.
