Ludovico Einaudi to play Hammersmith Apollo

London's Hammersmith Apollo has hosted shows by some of the greatest artists in history including Louis Armstrong, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, Van Morrison, The Who, David Bowie, Thin Lizzy, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson and many more.

Italian composer/pianist Ludovico Einaudi, who arrives in the UK this week for five sell-out shows at London's Barbican, is delighted to announce that he will play a show at this historic venue on Wednesday 22nd January 2014. Tickets for the show are available now.

Says Ludovico: "I have played many beautiful venues over the years from La Scala in Milan to the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Amphitheatre in Taormina to the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing and each venue has a special magic whether it is the architecture or the acoustics in the room or the ghosts who inhabit it from concerts past.

I'm hugely excited to be playing the Hammersmith Apollo because it has rock music in its DNA and many of my heroes have played there. I look forward to treading the boards where Beatles and Rolling Stones have gone before!"
