Lupe Fiasco made his "RapFix Live" debut last month for one of the show's most memorable episodes to date, and next Wednesday, the Chicago rapper will return to premiere his brand-new video for "Bitch Bad."
"Bitch Bad" is the second single from Lupe's upcoming fourth album, Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Part 1, which addresses the overuse of the word "bitch" in hip-hop culture, and he'll be in the studio to discuss the visuals before sharing it with fans. The video will be simultaneously broadcast on MTV Jams, mtvU, MTV2 and MTV Hits, and immediately following the premiere, a few notable industry experts will discuss the clip.
During his last visit to the show, Lupe watched footage of himself and host Sway Calloway hanging out in his neighborhood on Chicago's west side back in 2006. The video brought Lupe to tears, as he admitted that he was seeing "ghosts," referring to old friends who had died or were currently incarcerated. Fans showed an outpouring of support for Lupe on social media as they the moment was watched live. He's since premiered the new single "Lamborghini Angels," which came with a disclaimer because of its controversial topics.
Joining Lupe on "RapFix Live" this week will be Philadelphia's finest, Beanie Sigel, who premiered four episodes of his "Man to Man" Web series on the show over the past month. The series finds Sigel having heartfelt conversations with civil-rights activist Dr. Ben Chavis, as the rapper gets ready to begin a two-year prison sentence in September for tax evasion. Beanie will release his latest album, This Time, on August 28, before beginning his sentence.
