Lupe Fiasco might "murder" Justin Timberlake on their charity climb.

The two stars are set to make a gruelling trek up Mount Kilimanjaro with fellow musician Kenna this autumn and the rapper has a unique approach to easing the group's suffering if things get tough.

He joked: "Hell yeah, I'm worried. If things go bad out there, everybody's dying I'll go psychopath, freak out and murder everyone for the sake of none of us suffering! It would be like the ending of a Stephen King movie, by the time the rescue helicopter comes."

However, Lupe was quick to reassure fans of the 'SexyBack' singer that he will only resort to extreme measures if conditions become completely unbearable.

He laughed: "I wouldn't euthanise Justin unless he was really suffering."

The trio are climbing Kilimanjaro - the world's largest free standing mountain, located in Africa - to raise awareness of the global water crisis. Justin said recently: "I've been training four times a week to get my VO2 - oxygen consumption - levels up to expand my lungs. We'll climb for a week straight, carrying 30 lbs on our backs. It's going to be intense, but it's going to be so rewarding.

"We're going to be ready for it." Ethiopian-born Kenna - real name Kenna Zemedkun - recently revealed he came up with the idea to bring awareness to an issue close to his heart.

He said: "My dad almost died as a child from waterborne diseases in Ethiopia, and he had talked to me about digging a well there, and I thought, 'I have too many friends who would be concerned with the subject of clean water. Maybe I can help out.' "
