Madonna reportedly suffered an alcohol-fuelled meltdown on stage during her show in Melbourne, Australia, on Saturday night (12Mar16).
The Material Girl singer is currently battling ex-husband Guy Ritchie for custody of their son Rocco Ritchie, and shocked the audience at her concert in the Rod Laver Arena when she drank tequila onstage as well as downing a drink from a fan's hip flask as the legal fight took its toll.
Madonna confessed to messing up her songs, and made reference to the bitter battle she is embroiled in after her 15-year-old son Rocco decided to live in London with his director father, The Sun on Sunday newspaper reports.
"Someone please f**k me," she is said to have joked. "Somebody take care of me, please. Who is going to take care of me?" she told the shocked audience. She later said she had "messed up" her songs, and added, "It's all going pear-shaped up here," after performing a touching rendition of Send In The Clowns.
The pop superstar launched legal action in both the U.K. and New York after Rocco refused to return home to the Big Apple following a stay with his father in the English capital last December (15).
Madonna seemingly referenced her legal troubles at the concert on Saturday, telling the audience, "If I have learnt one thing in my life, it's just go with it. If you just laugh it doesn't hurt as much."
It was reported earlier this week (beg07Mar16) that the star wanted to settle the custody dispute, and bring the family back together. However, it was hinted by her lawyer that the impact of Rocco's decision to stay with his father has affected his siblings Lourdes Leon, David Banda and Mercy James.
David Williams QC said: "The proceedings here are not just about her and Rocco. Other family members have been profoundly affected by the decision that Rocco and Mr Ritchie took in November last year."
Apparently 11-year-old David is "heartbroken" by his big brother's decision to stay in London, according to the Sunday Mirror newspaper.
"Everybody is talking about Madge and Guy's fight over Rocco - but there's much more to it," a source told the publication. "The dispute is hard on the whole family, and David is really feeling it."
Madonna and Guy adopted David from an orphanage in Malawi in October 2006, just two years before they split.
