Manic Street Preachers have unveiled the brilliant new video for their latest single 'Futurology', as well as teasing that they may be marking the 20th anniversary of their seminal 1994 album The Holy Bible.
'Futurology' is the opening track from the band's recent incredible album of the same name, with the video carrying the same forward-thinking sense of motion that makes the album so striking.
Another collaboration with BAFTA-winning director, the band describe the video as "a frenetic, kinetic stream of urban consciousness".
"This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Manics' mid 90s masterpiece, The Holy Bible," said the band in a statement. "We'll be announcing some of the other very special ways in which we'll be marking the occasion in the coming weeks and months."
This is really good news.
He continued: "If you say 'that's it, I'm never playing that song again' and think there's some kind of Brownie points to be won by making that stance, then that's just sad. "If you're defined by something you've done that you think is awful, then you just end up making wrong decisions all over the place. There are obviously moments like 'The Love Of Richard Nixon' that are not hard to stand by, but hard to see why we released it as the first single for our album. More often than not, we still get some kind of power and rush because we were so obsessed and in the moment when we created it.
