Overview
Following the top five chart position of their eleventh studio album 'Rewind The Film', Manic Street Preachers release a new single 'Anthem For A Lost Cause' on Columbia Records on 25th November 2013.
A highlight of the highly rated album, the track has proved a live favourite on their recent sold out UK tour.
The song is accompanied by a powerful short film by Kieran Evans, who also directed the videos for 'Show Me The Wonder' and 'Rewind The Film' both also on the record.
Set in the Rhondda Valley's as with the other two promo's, the film depicts the women affected by the miners' strike as we approach the 30th anniversary of the upheaval of the industry.
