The 35-year-old DJ, who attended the awards on Tuesday night, told ITN News that although Grammy Awards are prestigious, the Brits are more laid back.
'I think the Grammys has a certain cache because it is international and in some ways America acts like it is the world but a lot of the same acts - Arcade Fire and Cee Lo [Green] - that were playing at the Grammys are playing here [at the Brits] and you've got booze here,' he explained.
'Add those two things together and it's kind of better. [The] Grammys can be quite stiff. Wonderful, wonderful prestigious award, but very stiff.'
