Rock Ness organisers today confirmed Mark Ronson as the latest exciting new addition to the impressive festival line up.
Fresh from working with talent such as Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen, the New York-based DJ, music producer, artist and co-founder of Allido Records will be performing exclusively with his brand new live band on Sunday 10 June prior to arena headliners Daft Punk.
Ronson, whose inspired reworking of The Smiths' classic "Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before" entered the charts at number 6 yesterday will be unleashing tracks from his much awaited new album 'Version' out on the 16th April.
Other acts confirmed today include colourful Isle of Wight indie rockers The Bees and Glasgow's stonking 1990's. These latest additions follow the announcement last week that hip hop chanteuse Kelis will be jetting in from the US to perform on the main stage on Saturday 9 June before Xfm main stage headliners Chemical Brothers.
The festival which is being staged on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th of June, will take place once again on the banks of magical Loch Ness, outside the village of Dores, four miles south-west of Inverness. Organisers expect 35,000 music fans to attend each day with a dedicated campsite for 25,000.
Rock Ness will be broadcast live and exclusive across radio partner Xfm's UK network to an audience of 1.6 million listeners.
Tickets are on sale now costing £45.00 per day or £85.00 for the weekend (subject to booking fee) and are available from www.ticketline.co.uk, www.ticketmaster.co.uk or 0871 424 4444.
