After spending the spring as a mentor on "The Voice," Adam Levine returned to reality TV on Wednesday night (Aug. 3) as his band Maroon 5 performed their new single "Moves Like Jagger" on NBC's "America's Got Talent." Jason Derulo also performed two songs, including his current hit "Don't Wanna Go Home," during the show.
Maroon 5 performed an energetic version of "Jagger," which came in at No. 41 on last week's Hot 100, without the help of the song's featured artist, Christina Aguilera. When asked by host Nick Cannon about the mood of the contestants awaiting elimination, Levine replied, "I'm sure they're petrified, but they should be a little bit, that nervous energy is a good thing."
Along with "Don't Wanna Go Home," which was paired with some nifty choreography, Derulo previewed his new single, "It Girl," while crooning upon an elevated platform. As Cannon mentioned, the pop singer's new album, "Future History," is out Sept. 27.
