London, 13th February 2005: Top US rock/pop band, Maroon 5 has scooped a Valentine's Honour for their 2004 hit, She Will Be Loved, in the first ever Udate.co.uk Valentine's Honours List announced today.
She Will Be Loved was chosen by thousands of single people for the Most Romantic Song Honour defeating “If There's Any Justice†by Lemar, “I'll Stand By You†by Girls Aloud and “Dry Your Eyes†from The Streets, all of which were Top Ten hits in 2004.
Maroon 5 join Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Cecelia Ahern and Cilla Black on the Valentine's Honours List which organisers, Udate.co.uk have nicknamed The Smoochies.
This is the first year of The Smoochies, which recognises the individuals, locations and works that have significantly contributed to the UK dating industry, which is estimated to be worth over £600million. The ten-strong Honours List has been voted for by thousands of British singles and for Valentine's 2005.
