Perfectly showcasing Martha's extraordinary range as a vocalist and songwriter, ‘Factory' is moving, tender and infectious. The song, like all Martha's material, is deeply personal and is characterised by her expressive and unforgettable voice. Portraying a sense of personal isolation and constant movement, the song eloquently captures the figure of the outsider and is just one of the many highlights of the album.

The track, ‘Pretty Good Day', is a cover of the Loudon Wainwright original which first appeared on his album, ‘Social Studies' (1999)

Following a hugely successful tour supporting her brother, acclaimed singer/songwriter Rufus Wainwright, on his UK Autumn 2004 tour and a string of thrilling one off performances, Martha has announced dates for her first headlining UK tour in February. A further date, April 25th at the Scala in London has just been announced - more dates to follow.
