Mary J Blige a bride

Chris Martin did it the other day, Elvis Costello done it yesterday and now Mary J. Blige has done it too. Kendu Isaacs the 'lucky man' in a hush-hush ceremony on Sunday, December 7.

The wedding took place before 50 guests and amazingly none of them were massive celebs. The ceremony took place at J's home in Bergen County, New Jersey.

Word had it that the couple were to tie the knot the day after Thanksgiving but no-one knew if the diva had actually done it untill her camp began issuing confirmations yesterday.

Mary J blurted out the big news herself during an appearance on The Tonight Show, telling Jay Leno , "I'm so happy, he's a good man and he loves me."

Well I suppose that's a start.

She credits Isaacs, a record producer, for helping her kick cocaine and alcohol addictions.

In a 2002 interview with Ebony, she called Isaacs her "soul mate," and discussed their strong religious bond.

The couple are forgoing a honeymoon for now while she prepares to go on tour for her latest CD.

I'd be well pissed off if that was me.
