Mary J. Blige had no idea Catherine Zeta-Jones was such a talented singer.
The songstress plays a strip club owner in the musical movie Rock of Ages alongside Catherine, Tom Cruise and Julianne Hough.
Mary was impressed by her non-musician co-stars - claiming Catherine blew her away with her rendition of Hit Me with Your Best Shot.
"I didn't see the movie but I heard the songs. I know it's terrible that I didn't see the movie yet," she admitted, before adding: "I heard the songs and I was impressed by Tom. I'm really impressed. And Catherine – I didn't even know she could sing like that."
Mary is famed for her hugely successful singing career, having won a host of Grammy Awards and American Music Awards to name a few.
The 41-year-old star has revealed why she chose to star in the big screen adaptation of Rock of Ages.
"I'm a fan of rock and roll. I love just all kinds of music. Musicals, the reason why I felt like something like this was going to happen because when I was in school, my music teacher used to put me in the plays. I did some dramatic stuff, in elementary though," she told Moviehole.net.
"To answer your question, did I ever think that I would be in a rock and roll musical? No. This just came out of nowhere."
