Overview
The 40-year-old is believed to be in talks to star alongside Jessie J and possibly Tom Jones as a mentor on the UK version of the talent show, which is set to launch on the BBC next year.
“I have been approached and we have been in discussions. I’m not sure if I’m doing it right now,' she told The Mirror.
But a source added that the Grammy-award winning singer won’t be demanding as much money as Kylie Minogue, who is believed to have asked for $2.5 million to appear.
“As always, negotiations will take a lot of time. But Mary is certainly being more realistic when it comes to her contract compared to Kylie Minogue. Kylie priced herself out of the programme, but there could be a deal with Mary.”
