Maximo Park album leaked

Maximo Park frontman Paul Smith has said he wants to strangle the person who leaked the band's forthcoming album onto the internet.

The Warp-signed band's second album "Our Earthly Pleasures", is not due for release until April 2nd, but is already on various file sharing sites.

Speaking to BBC's 6 Music, Smith said he was annoyed about the leak.

He commented: "I'd like to strangle the person who did it, and part of me says this is the way it happens these days.

"People are online and searching it out and seeking it, and you can't do much about it. I'm philosophical about it."

Maximo Park are currently on tour in Europe and return for UK dates to support the album.
