Maximo Park join Isle of Wight Festival

Mercury Nominated indie rockers Maximo Park have joined the ever-expanding line up for the Isle of Wight Festival 2006. The band will perform on Sunday 11th June alongside the legendary Lou Reed and hot newcomers KUBB, with many more acts to be announced shortly.

From the mean streets of Newcastle, Maximo Park have swiftly risen to indie fame and their debut album, A Certain Trigger, has been hailed by key critics as the finest British release of the decade.

Lou Reed and KUBB will also take to the stage on Sunday 11th June at the Isle of Wight Festival 2006.

Ex Libertine front man, Carl Barat and his new band Dirty Pretty Things will join Primal Scream, Editors, The Kooks, and 747¹s on Saturday 10th June.
