Maxïmo Park, who are currently recording their second album in London with Gil Norton producing, kick-off their UK tour in Ireland on September 26th and finish in London on October 6th at Brixton Academy.

2006 has been another busy year for Maxïmo Park: they headlined the NME Awards Tour, played to 100,000 at Bangkok 100, headlined the NME/Radio One stage at the Reading & Leeds Festivals, supported the Rolling Stones in Europe and also released a DVD Found On Film.
Maxïmo Park's headline tour, which sold out within two hours of being announced, will see the band showcasing new songs from their second album.
