Maxïmo Park release 'Karaoke Plays'

Maxïmo Park, who are currently on a sold out tour of the UK, release a new single Karaoke Plays through Warp Records on Monday 12th November. Karaoke Plays is taken from the bands highly acclaimed second album Our Earthly Pleasures.

The single will be available on enhanced CD, two x 7" vinyl and download. The bonus songs include more in the bands ongoing obituary series, this time on French philosopher Jean Baudrillard, sixties Labour politician George Brown and American author Jonathan Coleman.

The enhanced CD also contains a cover of Justin Timberlake's Like I Love You recorded for Radio One's 40th anniversary. As requested by fans all formats will include guitar & keyboard tablature and lyrics. The enhanced CD includes online extras (videos and downloads).

Maxïmo Park play their biggest dates in America to date directly after their UK tour. This is the bands second tour of the US in 2007 following their sold out tour in July.
