After scoring their first Top 20 Hit single in February with Apply Some Pressure, Maximo Park release a new single Graffiti, through Warp Records on May 2nd. The bands debut album A Certain Trigger, is released two weeks later on May 16th and contains all the bands singles including their debut limited edition release The Coast Is Always Changing / The Night I Lost My Head.
To support the release the band have announced an eleven date UK tour, five dates on the NME New Music Tour and a show in Sunderland as part of Radio One's Big Weekend:

Maximo Park have also been confirmed to play on The New Band Stage at Glastonbury on Friday 24th June. The band have just returned from their first American and Japanese tours, where they played with Bloc Party and the Kaiser Chiefs, they go back to Japan in July, where on their last visit they caused scenes close to that of Beatlmania, to play the main stage at the Fuji Rock Festival.
