Metro Station have announced they have gone into an indefinite hiatus.
The band, currently heard on the Alice In Wonderland 'Almost Alice' performing 'Where's My Angel', issued a simple statement saying "Trace Cyrus and Mason Musso have announced that they are placing the band on indefinite hiatus".
Metro Station released their first album in September 2007 and had a massive worldwide hit with 'Shake It' which sold more than 5 million downloads worldwide.
The band from Los Angeles, California formed in late 2006 and were signed to Columbia/Red Ink.
Trace Cyrus is the brother of Miley Cyrus and son of country star Billy Ray Cyrus.
