MICHAEL JACKSON has died at the age of 50.
The legendary singer passed away from a suspected heart attack at his Los Angeles home yesterday.
The 50-year-old singer was not breathing when emergency services arrived at his Bel Air home at about 12.30 Californian time, 19.30 GMT.
Paramedics performed CPR on Jackson as the ambulance took him to the UCLA medical centre.
His family rushed to his bedside, including his sister Latoya, who was reportedly seen crying and running into the hospital.
He was pronounced dead two hours later.
TV footage showed the star's body flown from hospital to the LA County Coroner's office where a post-mortem is expected to take place on Friday. 
He survived by three children, Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince Michael Jackson II. 
Jackson was due to begin a series of comeback concerts at London's O2 arena starting on 13 July.
He has a history of health problems, including recent reports he was suffering from skin cancer.
