Sir Mick Jagger has divulged the top ten list of things he has learnt after 50 years of Rock 'n' Roll.
The frontman of The Rolling Stones is currently celebrating half a century of success with the legendary British band.
Included on his tongue-in-cheek list were tips on attempting to stay relevant.
"Nobody wants to hear anything from your new album," he told American television host David Letterman.
The star then teased about the importance of understanding when you are during a tour and made a light-hearted joke about Maroon 5's song Moves like Jagger.
"Before shouting, 'Hi Seattle!' make sure you're in Seattle," he deadpanned. "[And] you don't earn a cent when someone does a song about having moves like Jagger.
"Everybody you meet after you become famous is only interested in you as a person."
Mick also gave strange advice about romance and mortgages, before joking he keeps things fresh by sometimes signing a different name when asked for an autograph.
The 69-year-old then happily gave his top three tips.
"Three - Be considerate of other hotel guests — trash your room by 10pm. Two - You can't always get what you want — like a good joke on the top ten list. One - You start out playing rock 'n' roll so you can have sex and do drugs. But you end up doing drugs so you can still play rock 'n' roll and have sex," he laughed.
Mick and his bandmates Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood have commemorated their long musical career with compilation album GRRR!
The rockers have also been busy touring with special guests such as Florence Welch and have a performance with pop icon Lady Gaga coming up in the US at the weekend.
