Dubbed 'The Angel Of Doom', Mick Jagger has played down his part in Brazil's shocking 7-1 World Cup exit, after Brazilains claimed his cursed vote of confidence proved to be fatal.
Infamous for picking the wrong side, The Rolling Stones legend, who was present in the colours of both Chile and Colombia before their World Cup exits, attended Tuesday's semi-final with son, Lucas. The last six games in which Jagger has publicly expressed his preferred outcome, the opposition have come out on top .
Laughing off the claims, Jagger told NME: "OK, I take responsibility for the first German goal… but not the other 6!"
His reply comes after saddended fans referred to him as "the biggest jinx in history" on TV station R7.
And they may have a point as Jagger, who has publicly shown support for England, Portugal and Italy, have all, rather strangely, gone the same way.
