We've sort of heard it all before but, when it comes from the front man of the group, you start to take things a bit more seriously.
Mick Jagger has said that the Rolling Stones will be playing live again "this Autumn."
He made the statement to London's Evening Standard, adding "You will definitely be seeing us all together soon. It's been great fun being back together and there are a lot of memories in here. I can't believe it's been 50 years. We've been hanging out together, seeing quite a bit of each other and we want to do some gigs."
Jagger also admitted that the band had been asked to play the Olympics Opening Ceremonies this month in London but turned it down, saying "We haven't played in a long time and we weren't really stage ready. It's a very big gig and it's very risk taking. I didn't think the band felt they were really ready to do it at this point."
