Amy Winehouse's father will talk to MPs today (August 1) about establishing a rehabilitation facility in her name.
The clinic will look to help addicts who can not afford private treatment.
The late singer's managers, Raye Cosbert and Trenton Harrison-Lewis, and a former addict, will also attend the meeting with Home Office minister James Brokenshire, according to The Sun.
A spokesman for the Winehouse family said that Mitch wanted to set-up the facility because he “realised that if the family didn't have the money for Priory-style treatment it would be difficult to get help”.
The singer's father said he wanted to start the Amy Winehouse Foundation during his eulogy at Amy's funeral last week.
He is working with Keith Vaz, the Chairman of the Home Affairs Select Committee, to address the issue. In 2009, the singer's father told the committee that addicts often committed crimes to be fast-tracked into rehab.
