A 44-year-old man was killed after a Motörhead concert Thursday night at the O2 Academy in Leeds, England.
Andrew Crawford was found in the city center where he had been battered in the head. Two men were reportedly seen running from the scene. Crawford was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where he died. His cousin, who was with him at the time of the attack, was also taken to the hospital but his injuries are said to not be serious.
Investigators into the incident are theorizing that Crawford's death is linked to another incident during the Motörhead concert where a friend of the deceased's hair was set on fire. While nobody has stepped forward with information on the first incident, Detective Superintendent Paul Taylor has said "There will have been around 2,000 people in the O2 Academy and someone must have seen Mr Crawford's friend's hair being set alight. If you can help identify this person, please get in touch."
