The summer's hottest festival just raised the temperature as yet more acts have been announced to play the main stage at this year's Isle of Wight Festival. R&B star Mr Hudson and new wave Oregon band Hockey perform on Friday 11th of June, while Crowded House will bring the weather with them on Saturday 12th of June.
Today's newly announced acts join an amazing line up including Jay-Z, The Strokes, Blondie, Pink, Calvin Harris, Doves, Vampire Weekend, Spandau Ballet, Paloma Faith, Orbital and Friendly Fires.
Riding high since signing to Kanye West's label, Mr Hudson has gained fans, awards and praise alike including winning the 'Best breakthrough Act' at the Q Awards. The Birmingham born singer promises to be an unmissable act.
Guaranteed to bring a smile to the faces of festival goers Crowded House join the Isle of Wight Festival line up after reuniting in 2006. With a new album due for release in 2010, Crowded House promise to wow the crowd with new material and songs from their extensive back catalogue of hits .
Hotly tipped by Radio One's Zane Lowe, Hockey has been widely proclaimed as the next big thing. Following the release of debut album 'Mind Chaos' the band have performed to huge critical acclaim.
