On November 22, 1981, Muddy Waters was playing at his club in Chicago, The Checkerboard Lounge, when the Rolling Stones stopped in.
Soon, Waters had them on the stage (along with Buddy Guy, Junior Wells and Lefty Dizz) with him for a lengthy set of blues numbers.
That show was captured on both audio and video but was never released, even though it has a big hit on the bootleg market. On July 10, Eagle Rock will remedy that situation with an official release of the show.
The original tape has been cleaned up with the release in DTS Surround Sound, Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Stereo, mixed and mastered by Bob Clearmountain.
