Justin Timberlake is set to sing Bye Bye Bye with his 'N Sync bandmates at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The singer and actor is reported to be reuniting with his old band at the ceremony on August 25.
JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick are said to be keeping plans top secret but an insider has revealed all.
"They will re-enact some of their greatest videos in a medley," the source told Us Weekly. "Then Justin will sing his new song Take Back the Night and get his [Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award]."
The former bandmates got together in New York City on Friday to get ready for the show, according to reports.
'Their last TV appearance was in 2003, during a Grammy Awards tribute to the Bee Gees although the band later released a Greatest Hits album in 2005.
Since then Justin has been most successful in his solo music and movie career. He released his third LP The 20/20 Experience in March and has appeared in flicks including Friends With Benefits, The Social Network and Trouble With the Curve.
Lance Bass meanwhile hosts his own SiriusXM radio show, Dirty Pop With Lance Bass.
"It's amazing to see the reaction out there on Twitter and social media...[and] how many people are supporting 'N Sync," the pop star recently said. "It's so nice to see, because when we ended things [over] 10 years ago, there was no social media, there was no Twitter [fan base]. It's so cute to see how many people are supporting [us]."
