NE-YO has reportedly said sorry to his fans after he recently had a breakdown on stage.
The singer was forced to leave during the middle of his concert at Manchester's MEN Arena last Thursday because he wasn't well, and burst into tears.
He had complained early on in the performance that he wasn't well and then left the stage for ten minutes before returning in tears.
He told fans: "Trust me when I say, I'll be back. I will be back."
He has since expressed his regret for the sobbing in an online blog entry and said his reasons for ending the show early was because of a sinus infection.
He said: "I got on stage energised and ready to go, even tho for the last five days I've been dealing with a sinus infection. I paid it no real mind, and kept on going, like I always do.
"My voice couldn't take it. From the first song I knew something was wrong. I shoulda stopped there, but I come from a school where no matter what, the show must go on (sic)."
He continued: "It wasn't until about four songs in that I came to the painful realisation that my voice was done, literally nothing left, and that I would have to stop the show. I've never had to stop a show, never dreamed I'd ever have to.
"So when I had to walk out on that stage and tell 12,000 of the people responsible for making me who I am that I could not perform for them, it literally broke my heart. I cried harder than I have in a very long time with no shame whatsoever.
"Thanks to the fans for the love and concern. And to the bloggers... go to hell."
