Neil Diamond has tied the knot for the third time. The Solitary Man singer married his manager, Katie McNeil, in a small ceremony on Saturday attended by family and friends.
This is the third marriage for Diamond, 71, and the first for McNeil, 42. Neil announced the engagement last fall when he posted on Twitter "Good news coming from sunny LA/ and you're the first I want to tell/ Katie & I just got engaged/ and I hope you wish us well."
It is to Diamond's credit that he is taking the plunge again as the divorce from his second wife, Marcia Murphey, cost him an estimated $150 million, the second highest celebrity divorce settlement ever.
Neil hits the road for a North American tour starting June 1.
