On Thursday, Neil Young and Crazy Horse announced that they were cancelling the remaining seven dates on their European tour due to an accident.
Due to an accident involving Crazy Horse, the remaining dates on the Neil Young and Crazy Horse tour of Europe and the British isles have been cancelled. We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes to our fans or the Festivals where we were scheduled to appear. As you must be, we too are disappointed at this unfortunate turn of events.

That was it. No mention of the type of accident or who was involved; however, a source told Rolling Stone that guitarist Frank "Poncho" Sampedro had broken his hand.
The source also said that the break was mild and he should be able to begin playing again by the time the band starts their North American tour on August 31 in Dundas, Ontario.
