Sunday held high expectations with The Pixies only UK date but this proved unfounded. A lacklustre set met the festival goers but luckily Neil Young was on hand to take up the slack.
Classic hit followed classic hit with 'Rockin In The Free World', 'Heart of Gold', and 'My My Hey Hey' particularly welcomed.
The Charlatans also proved to be a festival favourite after Tim Burgess curated Sunday's Big Top stage with Dance For Burgess being a particular highlight.
Goldielookingchain left Newport (Wales) to arrive in Newport (Isle of Wight) and bring the crowd to a boil earlier in the day with a thundering rap set showing exactly why they should still be held in high regard.
Now in its eight year since its revival, another successful festival was had by all.
