When Bruce Springsteen receives the 23rd MusiCares Person of the Year Award on February 8, he will be saluted by a long list of prominent artists.
The initial list of performers was announced on Wednesday along with John Stewart being named as the host for the gala evening.

The gala, being held two days prior to the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, will start with a cocktail reception and silent auction followed by a dinner and the concert saluting the honoree.
The MusiCares Person of the Year tribute is one of the most prestigious events held during Grammy Week. Proceeds from the annual Person of the Year tribute provides essential support for MusiCares, which ensures that music people have a place to turn in times of financial, medical and personal need.
