Neil Young's new album 'Storytone' was recorded live with a 92-piece orchestra on hand to perform in the studio.
Young produced 'Storytone' with Niko Bolas who also worked on the new Tim Wheatley Crooked Saint EP. Michael Bearden and Chris Walden conducted the orchestra.
'Storytone' will be available in a single orchestral version and a deluxe edition featuring both orchestra versions and solo versions of all 10 songs.
Young gave a hint of the new music when he performed 'Who's Gonna Stand Up?' on his recent European tour.
'Storytone' will be released in standard, deluxe and download versions on November 4 and as a deluxe 180 gram double vinyl pressing on December 16.
