Neil Young has won his first ever Grammy for the Archives box set.
For Young, who started his recording career in 1964, it was a bittersweet win because of the death of his friend and business partner L.A. Johnson was two weeks ago.
Johnson was very much part of the Archives project, as he is with all of Neil's video ventures. Larry Johnson ran Young's film company Shakey Pictures.
Neil wasn't at the ceremony. Instead in a video hook-up he had just four words to say on camera "Thanks a lot everybody".
AC/DC also won their first ever Grammy Award today. They picked up Best Hard Rock Performance for the song 'War Machine'.
