Carolina Chocolate Drops' Rhiannon Giddens is the latest member of supergroup The New Basement Tapes to take on an unreleased Bob Dylan song. Listen to it below.
The singer takes the lead on 'Spanish Mary', the latest track to be taken from the Bob Dylan tribute album Lost On The River: The New Basement Tapes.
The 15-track collection features My Morning Jacket's Jim James, Mumford and Sons' Marcus Mumford, Elvis Costello and many others, and features music written by the musicians using Bob Dylan lyrics dating back to 1967.
Speaking of 'Spanish Mary' in a statement, Giddens said: "Out of all the lyrics I looked through for the New Basement Tapes project, the one for 'Spanish Mary' attracted me first - here was a ballad, and I know ballads!"
