Nick Jonas' new song has gone platinum.
The former Disney star enjoyed musical success alongside his siblings Joe and Kevin in band Jonas Brothers, but they parted ways last year.
Now 22-year-old Nick has taken the charts by storm solo with his new hit Jealous, and he's just had the happy news that it's sold one million times.
"Wow. I just got the word that Jealous is officially PLATINUM! Thank you everyone! (sic)," he celebrated with his followers on Twitter.
And the good news doesn't stop there for Nick. The star has just been announced as the support act for Iggy Azalea when she hits the road in 2015.
"what I'm trying to say is: @nickjonas is my special guest on tour next year. (sic)," she excitedly tweeted.
Nick quickly replied: "@IGGYAZALEA let's do this. (sic)"
Thanks to his celebrity status, Nick has plenty of A-list friends. Among them is Ariana Grande, who he has produced music with in the past. His pal is supporting his solo ventures - and has got her whole family on board.
"my mom loves @nickjonas' song "jealous" more than any of her children (sic)," the 21-year-old pop princess tweeted.
It seems that Nick's decision to branch off from his brothers was the right one. The singer, who also stars in TV show Kingdom, recently spoke out about parting ways with his siblings.
"I think in the sense of trying to make a transition but not necessarily being in sync; being locked in the way we needed to be and prioritising different things between the three of us. But we made the decision to be brothers first and it was the right thing," he revealed to torontosun.com.
