Nick Jonas impressed his new girlfriend's parents by going to church.
The 20-year-old singer met 2012's Miss Universe Olivia Culpo's family for the first time in Rhode Island at the weekend and opted to enjoy a religious service.
"He actually came to church with us on Sunday!" Olivia's mom Susan Culpo told Celebuzz. "It may seem a bit unusual, but not to him."
Nick is the youngest member of former Disney band the Jonas Brothers which consists of older siblings Kevin and Joe.
He has dated famous ladies including Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Delta Goodrem, but appears to be keen on getting in the good books of his new girl's relatives.
"He's a fine kid. He's only 20, so I call him a kid," Susan laughed. "We had such a great time."
The pop star stayed in the family property and checked out their regular hang-out spot in town.
E! reports they visited Iggy's Doughboys & Chowder House and ate cheeseburgers, hamburgers, chowder, doughboys and calamari.
"They stayed in our house. And they went to the zoo and to our favourite restaurant Twin Oaks," she added. "They were only here for two days so it was a short trip."
The duo met when Nick co-hosted the 2013 Miss USA pageant in June with Giuliana Rancic.
Olivia's mother confirmed that the pair are not taking anything too seriously for now.
"Olivia's only 21 and he's 20, so they're very young. But he's a fine young man," she shared.
"I think she's having fun. They're just getting to know each other. They're in the beginning stages. So who knows where it goes from here.
"But they are interested in each other and definitely like each other. Good taste on Olivia's part."
